Accommodation Services

ROOMS: The Koorda Hotel rooms are clean and functional, ideal for travellers passing through town or working crews.

We offer a variety of rooms including family rooms, queen rooms, twin rooms and single rooms available for short and long term stays. A number of rooms have direct access to the balcony. All other rooms can access the balcony via the main doors.

Each room includes all bedding, towel(s), flat screen TV, reverse cycle air conditioning, free parking, access to a fridge, microwave and air fryer along with tea and coffee facilities, and continental style breakfast.

The dining area is accessible to all guests 24/7 and includes tea and coffee facilities, fridge, microwave and air fryer. This area also includes items reserved for breakfast such as juice, bread, spreads and cereals.

CHECK IN: Check in starts at 1pm and check out time is 10am. Arrangements may be made for variation to times where possible.

Once you are booked in you have 24 hour access to your room and guest facilities.

We don’t have 24 hour concierge desk but you have access to support in an emergency by ringing the accommodation bell.

Long term accommodation (1 month or more) at the Koorda is offered at an attractive discount with all size rooms on offer. Perfect for contractors and those looking for single rental accommodation in Koorda.

Meals & Facilities

BREAKFAST: A continental style breakfast is available for all guests in the dining room at no extra cost and can be accessed at any time in the morning.

Breakfast includes beverages such as tea and coffee, fruit juice, cereal and bread. Raisin bread, picklets, crumpets and other goodies are also available at times.

Tea and coffee can also be accessed at any time in the dining room.

LUNCHES & PICNICS: For those travelling through or working crews, packed lunches are ideal. See the Restaurant page.

Picnic lunches are perfect for locals and those exploring the local areas whether you are on the Wheatbelt Way trail or simply out for a fun day. See the Restaurant page for further details.

The hotel opens for lunches for special events or on request by groups. Although we typically require notice, we also open for unplanned occassions on request where possible.

EVENING MEALS: Evening meals are available for guests and can be ordered from the menu as dine in or takeaway.

Relax on the balcony with your meal while watching the stars or join the locals in the bar and beer garden.

Hotel guests are catered for on the days the pub is shut with a shortened menu, BBQ or buffet style meal. The style of meal is determined by the Hotel and dependent on number of hotel guests on the day.

Additional Services

SPORT EQUIPMENT: The Shire of Koorda offers a tennis court and a basketball court along with a pool in summer. The hotel has tennis rackets and balls, basketball and pool towels available for guests. Speak with staff.

LAUNDRY: A laundry service is available which includes washing, drying, folding and delivering the laundry to the accommodation area.

The laundry service is based on a single load in an average sized washing machine with a 24 hour turn around time. Ideal for working crews, travellers and long term guests.

Alternatively there are coin operated washing facilities at the Koorda Caravan Park.

Disabled Access in Accommodation Areas

The accommodation is on the first floor which is accessed by a grand stairway and unfortunately does not have wheelchair access. The ground floor does allow for wheelchair access for meal and bar service.

The Koorda Hotel, built back in 1925 was not built with disabled access in its design for accommodation.

Cancellations

We appreciate that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is:

For Room Bookings: The cancellation period is defined on the invoice where issued. Where an invoice has not been issued a minumum of 48 hrs notice is required prior to check-in time of 1pm. 

Multiple Room Bookings: Groups and companies booking multiple rooms will be required to provide additional cancellation notice. Discuss with staff on booking.
